Easter and Everything else!

We had some family photos at school the other day and we were able to paint a picture frame. Afterwards Donovin was able to wash his hands at a sink that was the perfect height for him!

On Friday April 18, Donovin had HeroSubs at school. Mom and Nana joined Donovin for lunch. What a little piggy he was. He loved the turkey and ham we ate, plus the cheese. Especially the chocolate milk!

Then it was Easter Morning. Donovin could care less about the Easter basket we had gotten him, but he looked really cool all dressed up for Easter Brunch at the country club!  Here he is with his vest, hat and sunglasses! One cool dude!

He really liked the plastic Easter egg from the country club.

After brunch on Easter we headed home with Dan and as not to break tradition we all changed out of our Easter best for some yard clothes and we got to work cleaning up the yard! Wohoo! Look at all those leaves.  And that's after I forgot to take before pictures. That tarp was dragged across the yard about a dozen times filled with leaves! Good Job Daddy, Dan, and Donovin!

The above photo is Awesome # 1

The below photo is of Awesome # 2

Jesse and Dan refer to each other at Awesome #1 & # 2. These two when they are together can conquer a lot. I was feeling really lucky that day to have them cleaning up the yard.

The above picture is me trying to be artistic. I have no idea what kind of bush/tree or whatever this is, but I hate it. It's prickly, overgrown and has flowers for about 3 weeks every year! Anyone have an idea what it could be?

The above picture is above an American Flag! Duh!! But what makes this flag especially special is that it's from the early 50's. We picked it up from my (Lisa's) grandmother's house. The receipt was still in the box. Talk about organized!  This flag has been hanging for 2 years and has held up way better than any of our old flags. Just goes to show that they don't make things like they use to!

What do you get when you have spirit week, and Monday is crazy day. The crazier the better and a mom who has a sewing machine?  Pure awesomness! I took two shirts, one long sleeve and one short sleeve, cut them up the middle and sewed them together!  Then I sewed strips of fabric to sweat pants. He was by far the craziest dressed kid at school (daycare). Jesse thought perhaps I (Lisa) may have gone overboard.
