The life and times of Donovin Eaton

Last week at school it was Spirit Week. Monday was crazy day. The crazier the better! Donovin took the craziest dressed!  That's what happens when you have a mom with a sewing machine!  Jesse thought I might have overdone it! I say pish posh. Kid rocked the craziness!

 

 

We are getting a new driveway! Bye bye, old horrendous looking big pot hole, I won't miss you at all swimming pool when it rains! We've had that big hole in the driveway ever since we moved in but each year it keeps getting bigger and bigger. Then this winter was even more brutal then normal so our driveway took even more of a beating. Last Friday they came and tore up our old driveway and laid 8" of reclaimed asphalt. On Monday they're coming to lay the new asphalt. Excited doesn't even begin to describe my feelings!  Bring on the chalk drawings and easy snow blowing. Adios crappy driveway!  Maybe we'll get more visitors now.

 

Oh and this girl has got some good negotiating skills. Talked the guy down $375 dollars. GO ME! Jesse likes to brag to people when I get good deals. I like that he likes to brag.

 

Last Friday we took Donovin down the street to a park. It was busiest I've ever seen it. Donovin loved going down the slides. I really think I would like a swing set at the house, but the price range is huge and I have no idea what to get!

If you haven't notice, I don't have a husband I have two children! Okay not really, Jesse is nailing this whole Dad thing!

Last Saturday was Passport around the world at the Shipyard. Donovin and his girlfriend on the alligator saw when they were visiting a country.

 Then he loved the little rocking boat! 

 We didn't stay too long. Donovin isn't a big fan of crowds. I have a feeling it's because he's so small and crowds tend to be so big!

 Leaf clean up time. Donovin likes to admire the leaf blower from a distance!  I swear the next house we have will not have as many trees. As much as I love yard work, this maybe  is a little too much leaf clean up for me.  We do it in the fall then we have to re do it in the spring.

Auntie I'm not sure holding your hand will make me go any closer to the leaf blower!
